Purifying Lemon, Honey & Turmeric Face Mask (For Acne-Prone Skin)


Ingredients:
• 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon raw honey (preferably organic)
• ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Benefits:
• Lemon: a natural astringent and antibacterial agent that helps dry out pimples and reduce excess oil.
• Honey: a soothing, hydrating antibacterial that calms and protects the skin.
• Turmeric: reduces inflammation, fights acne-causing bacteria, and helps fade post-acne marks.

Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl until you get a smooth paste.
2. Apply to clean skin, focusing on acne-prone areas.
3. Leave on for 10 to 12 minutes (no longer, to avoid skin sensitivity or yellow staining).
4. Rinse off with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.

Tips to avoid yellow stains from turmeric:
• Use only a small amount of turmeric (½ teaspoon or less).
• Do not leave the mask on longer than 12 minutes.
• If any yellow tint remains, gently wipe the skin with a cotton pad soaked in milk or micellar water.
• Apply a gentle toner afterward if needed.

Recommended use: 1–2 times per week, only at night.
Important: Use sunscreen the next day, as lemon can increase sun sensitivity.
